Seller Agreement

This Seller Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the relationship between Archive Collective (“we”, “us”, “our”) and approved sellers (“you”, “seller”) who list items for sale on the Archive Collective platform.
By applying to sell, listing items, or continuing to sell on Archive Collective, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Marketplace Relationship
Archive Collective operates a curated marketplace for pre-owned luxury items.
We provide the platform, editorial presentation, and transaction infrastructure.
You remain the legal owner of your items until sold.
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
2. Eligibility to Sell
To sell on Archive Collective, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Have legal ownership of all items submitted

Have the legal right to sell those items
-
Provide accurate personal and payout information
We reserve the right to approve or decline sellers at our sole discretion.
3. Authenticity & Ownership
You confirm and warrant that:

All items listed are genuine and authentic
-
Items are not counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised
-
You are the lawful owner of the items
-
Items are free from liens or third-party claims
Archive Collective operates a zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit goods.
If an item is found to be inauthentic:

The listing will be removed immediately
-
Your seller account may be suspended or terminated
-
Payouts may be withheld pending investigation
4. Item Listings & Accuracy
You agree to:

Provide clear, honest descriptions
-
Disclose all visible wear, damage, or alterations
-
Upload clear, natural-light photographs of the actual item
-
Follow Archive Collective’s listing standards and condition grading
Archive Collective reserves the right to:
-
Edit listings for clarity or consistency
-
Reject or remove listings that do not meet standards
5. Approval & Curation
All seller listings are subject to review and approval before publication.
Archive Collective reserves the right to:

Decline items that do not align with brand standards
-
Limit the number of active listings per seller
-
Remove items at any time for quality, compliance, or reputational reasons
6. Pricing
Prices may be set by you, subject to review.
Archive Collective reserves the right to:

Recommend pricing adjustments
-
Remove listings priced inconsistently with market value
7. Commission
By selling on Archive Collective, you agree to the following commission rates:

Bags: 20%
-
Shoes & Accessories: 25%
-
Ready-to-Wear: 25%
-
High-demand luxury pieces: 15%
Commission is automatically deducted before payout.
8. Shipping & Fulfilment
You agree to:

Ship sold items within 3 business days of sale

Use a tracked and insured delivery service
-
Package items securely and professionally
Failure to ship on time may result in:

Order cancellation
-
Seller suspension
-
Account termination
9. Returns & Disputes
If an item is returned because it is:
-
Not as described
-
Significantly misrepresented
-
Inauthentic
You agree to:
-
Accept the return
-
Cover return shipping costs
-
Refund the buyer via the platform
Archive Collective may intervene to resolve disputes.
10. Payouts
-
Payouts are released 48 hours after confirmed delivery
-
Paid via Stripe Connect or PayPal
-
No minimum payout threshold
Archive Collective may delay payouts where fraud, disputes, or compliance checks are required.
11. Intellectual Property
You grant Archive Collective a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your item images and descriptions for:

Website listings
-
Marketing
-
Social media
-
Editorial content
All Archive Collective branding remains our intellectual property.
12. Seller Conduct
You agree not to:

Attempt to bypass the platform
-
Contact buyers outside Archive Collective
-
Misrepresent items
-
Upload infringing content
-
Violate any applicable law
13. Suspension & Termination
Archive Collective may suspend or terminate your seller account without notice if you:

Breach this Agreement
-
List counterfeit items
-
Misrepresent products
-
Damage the reputation of the platform
14. Limitation of Liability
Archive Collective is not liable for:

Lost profits
-
Indirect or consequential loss
-
Courier delays
-
Buyer misuse of items
Our liability is limited to fees earned on the relevant transaction.
15. Data Protection
Seller data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
